At Emita Polo, we’ve always believed that the right equipment should make you feel more confident the moment you put it on. That’s exactly what we wanted to achieve with our new Emita Polo Glasses: premium polo glasses designed specifically for the demands of the sport.
Built for Polo, Not Adapted from Other Sports
For years, polo players have been wearing eyewear originally made for cycling, shooting or general sports use. But polo is completely different. It’s fast, physical, dusty and high impact, and we felt players deserved polo glasses that were designed around the way the game is played.
As an ex-professional player, I knew firsthand how difficult it was finding the right polo eyewear, and speaking with other players highlighted common problems. Some glasses slipped during chukkas, others steamed up under a helmet, restricted side vision or simply didn’t feel comfortable enough to wear for long periods. There was always a compromise between comfort, safety, style and affordability.
That’s why we created the Emita Polo Glasses.
Introducing the Emita Sapphire and the Emita Topaz
Both styles have been designed for comfort, premium protection and all-day performance on the polo field. Built using a strong yet flexible TR90 frame with durable PC polycarbonate lenses, they offer a lightweight fit without compromising on protection or clarity.
The Emita Topaz features a slightly larger frame fit for players wanting a little more coverage and presence, while the Emita Sapphire offers a sleek, streamlined fit that feels minimal and secure under a helmet.
One feature we’re especially proud of is the three interchangeable lens options included with every pair. Both the Sapphire and Topaz glasses come with::
- Photochromic Lens - for changing light conditions
- Jade-Blue Sun Lens with mirrored finish - for brighter days
- Grey Lens with red mirror finish - for strong direct sunlight
We wanted our polo eyewear to feel practical and versatile, whether you’re playing high goal polo, schools polo, pony club or simply stick and balling at home.
Each pair is supplied with individual lens pouches, an Emita Polo protective case and a lens cleaning cloth. The lenses also provide UVA and UVB protection during outdoor play.
Most importantly, the glasses are fully safety compliant and built specifically with polo in mind.
Polo Glasses Built for Comfort, Safety and Style
Our goal was simple: create polo glasses that players genuinely want to wear.
The Emita Polo Glasses are lightweight, secure and comfortable enough that you almost forget you’re wearing them. They feature an adjustable secure nose fit to help prevent slipping while riding, without feeling too tight under a helmet.
One of the most important details during development was clear side coverage. In polo, protection can’t just come from directly ahead. Players need visibility and protection from multiple angles while still feeling unrestricted on the field.
Designed for Every Level of Polo
The Emita Polo Glasses were created for players of all ages and levels, from pony club and schools polo through to professional and high goal players.
We refused to create a generic pair of “sports-style” glasses and simply label them as polo glasses. Every detail was carefully considered to make sure they suited the sport, from the fit and comfort to the side coverage, lens options and safety standards.
At the same time, we wanted them to remain affordable and accessible. Polo players should be able to invest in quality protective eyewear without paying an unrealistic premium.
More than anything, we wanted players to feel confident, protected and professional when wearing them.
