English Jointed Pelham
Our jointed pelhams, available in UK sizes 5 1/4" mouth x 6" shank or 5" shank, are designed with an ergonomic shape and a thick but gentle mouthpiece.
This bit is perfect for introducing the curb chain pressure point to a horse that has only been ridden in a gag or snaffle.
Compared to the Hartwell/ported pelham and mullen/straight pelhams, our jointed pelhams are generally considered to be softer.
