English Balding Gag
A loose ring Gag with a single-jointed mouthpiece. The combination of the high pull of the Gag cheek, and the ‘nutcracker’ action which also exerts pressure on the palate, create a strong action. As with any conventional (running) Gag, using two reins enables the rider to ride from the snaffle, only picking up the Gag action when required.
