A USA Balding gag with a single-jointed mouthpiece (15mm) is a type of horse bit characterised by its single hinge in the centre, which creates a V-shape when pressure is applied.

At 15mm thick, there is a slight increase of pressure due to the decrease of surface area. The lovely curvature of the mouthpiece fits over the horse’s tongue and bars comfortably.
