Questions About Polo Horse Equipment

What tack does a polo pony need?

A typical polo setup includes a polo saddle, girth, overgirth, bridle, reins, martingale or breastplate, appropriate bit and leg protection. Exact equipment varies depending on the horse and rider.

Why do polo ponies wear an overgirth?

An overgirth provides an additional securing point over the saddle, helping keep it stable during the fast movement and sharp turns of polo.

Do you ship horse equipment internationally?

Yes. Emita Polo ships a wide range of horse equipment worldwide, although some products may have destination-specific restrictions.
