Ainsley Bits
RA Ainsley French Lonz link Snaffle Brass Mouth 5 1/4"
The pinchless loose ring french link snaffle is often favoured by horses as the lack of palate pressure makes the bit more comfortable and relieves pressure on the horses bars. Often wrongly mistaken for a Dr Bristol, the french link snaffle is a very kind bit, as the central plate is shaped and lies flat on the tongue passively. The loose ring enhances feel and communication through the reins between horse and rider. The arms of the pinchless snaffle contain an internal bushing system, which permits either side of the bit to rotate independently of the other side. This unique action allows the rein signals to be felt independently and communication between horse and rider much clearer.
